MathMania - Adventures in Mathematics magazine
In the March 2000 issue of Ontario Mathematics Gazette, OAME.
MathMania is a quarterly publication whose goal is to provide creative classroom-ready activities that can help teachers and students enjoy doing math. Most activities have a personal point of view. [...] Interviews are not only conducted with real people doing real math but with mathematical objects like circles and fractions who discuss their characteristics and history. [...] MathMania falls into the "gotta have it" category at least for each school or math department. The inside cover includes a short pedagogical article which is especially appropriate to a system like ours which is in the process of reform. It helps put the activities in the broader context of rich learning tasks and constructivist theory.
